
Drying process
VIBRO FLUID BED DRYER is ideal equipment for drying tea. The Dryer works on the principle of Vibrating-Fluidized-Bed. Wet tea is dried most effectively with hot air produced, from any sources of heat. Measured quantity of fermented tea leaf is fed through a feed system into the drying chamber. Hot air is passed from underneath a perforated tray carrying the wet tea. The tea bed is effectively fluidized by a combination of hot air and vibrations. Tea is dried in one pass and dry tea comes out from the other end. Almost fully saturated exhaust air is thrown out whereas reusable air can be recalculated to further improve the thermal efficiency of the system.
